Setting the shell — usually a single day on site
Because the shell arrives finished from the factory, the on-site work moves fast. Here's what actually happens on your project.
We look at access, setbacks, utilities and grade, and match a shell to your yard and budget. You'll see shape, size and color options before anything is ordered.
We pull the permits for your county or municipality. Timing varies by jurisdiction and sits outside our install window.
We dig and shape the hole to the shell's exact profile, then set a compacted base so the pool is evenly supported.
Your pool arrives on a truck and is craned into place — usually in a single day. This is the part homeowners come outside to watch.
Returns and skimmers plumbed, equipment pad set, and pump, filter, heater and automation wired to code.
The shell is backfilled and locked in with a concrete collar so it stays true for the life of the pool.
Pavers — our preferred finish — or broom-finished concrete, plus coping, lighting and water features. Screen enclosure too, if that's part of your project.
We fill, balance the water, start the equipment, and walk you through running the pool before we leave.
Typical timeline: 6–8 weeks from excavation to swimming, versus several months for a custom concrete build. Permitting and weather sit outside that window — we'd rather quote honestly than promise a date we can't hold.
